Fixtures, Hardware & Mounting

The right placement is only half the mounting plan.

Paloma Pro reviews the item, wall or cabinet surface, attachment points, utilities, access, and desired finish before installation is confirmed.

A useful place to start

Installation help for select fixtures, mirrors, shelves, hardware, and wall-mounted items.

Mirrors, shelves, curtain hardware, cabinet pulls, and select fixtures each place different demands on the surface behind them. Weight, leverage, fastener spacing, backing, and nearby utilities matter as much as visual alignment.

Electrical, plumbing, in-wall, waterproofing, structural, masonry, and unusually heavy installations may require a licensed or specialized path. Product information and wall photos help identify that boundary early.

Scope note

Electrical, plumbing, in-wall, and structural work is accepted only when the appropriate scope can be confirmed.

  • Send the product link, model number, dimensions, weight, and installation instructions.
  • Photograph the proposed location from across the room and up close.
  • Identify the surface material and any known studs, blocking, pipes, wiring, or waterproofing.
  • Mark the preferred centerline or height and note nearby doors, switches, outlets, or trim.
  • Confirm that every bracket, fastener, template, and accessory supplied by the manufacturer is present.

Questions, answered

Before you request fixtures, hardware & mounting.

Can I buy the fixture after scheduling?

It is better to share the exact product before the visit. Dimensions, included hardware, mounting pattern, power or plumbing needs, and manufacturer instructions can all change the service path.

Can something be mounted anywhere on a wall?

Not necessarily. Safe attachment depends on the item, wall assembly, available structure, fasteners, utilities, and clearances. The preferred location may need adjustment after review.

Are electrical and plumbing fixtures included?

Only after the exact scope is reviewed. Work involving wiring, circuits, plumbing connections, waterproofing, permits, or regulated systems may require an appropriately licensed specialist.
